MINDFUL PERMACULTURE

ABOUT US
Tacomepai is a high vibing organic permaculture farm leaning on Thai tradition. We are located 6km south of Pai between the mountains and the rice fields. Things flow organically and peacefully here, in harmony with Mother Earth. It's a playground where we explore our roots and thrive together with nature while learning from each other and exchanging cultural knowledge.
Tacomepai is set on 20 acres of land with food forests of mango, banana, papaya, starfruit, bamboo, jackfruit, tamarind, lime, longan, coffee, mangosteen, rambutan and many more. We have vegetable gardens on contour, rice paddies and ponds.
Tacomepai was reopened in July 2017 after a break. Now we want to communicate and share the local culture both to foreigners and young Thai people who are drifting away from their traditions.
We welcome volunteers all year around. As a volunteer you will be staying in simple accomodation around our beautiful farm. You will have all your meals provided. All of our food is made from vegan whole foods and most of it comes from the farm. We will cook together and learn about Thai cuisine. To give the volunteers the best experience we are currently taking 7 people at a time. We ask for a contribution of 200 bath per night.

HOW WE FLOW
Kindly note that we are not a tourist attraction. Because we are a functioning farm we expect volunteers to be committed and interested in our philosophy.
We express ourselves using loving, nonviolent communication do our best to maintain a positive attitude. We are here because we have a genuine interest in permaculture, sustainability and living as a community.
We do not use illegal drugs in Tacome Pai and we're mindful of the volume of our speech and music from 10PM to 9AM.
We seperate clean and dirty plastic, paper, compost, and bottles in to different bins. We wash and dry dirty plastic before throwing it.
We don't buy plastic bags, straws or bottles. If we however end up with these items in our hands we bring them home to be reused instead of throwing them in the carbage.
If you have any extra tools you don't need at home, Tacomepai gladly accepts them.
The nights in Pai can get chilly so it's advisable to bring some warm clothing with you.
~ Thank you ~
